Day at The Beach

My kids call a trip to Jefferson Lake a trip to "The Beach".  The sand is brown and the water pretty cold but on a hot summer day it is the perfect way to cool off.  Leah loves paddling around in the shallow area in the Ladybug floaty.

Tal and Abi are big enough and confident enough swimmers to stroke out to the dock and go down the slide a few times. But even so they usually stay pretty close to the shore playing in the warmer water or building sand castles.

Eva likes to go floating out on a tube with mommy or sticking just her feet in the water.  But mostly she likes to play in the sand to.
